In this episode of Allan’s Leadership Edge, Allan explores the four key components of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Through practical insights and real-world examples he shows how emotionally intelligent leaders handle difficult conversations, give better feedback and build stronger higher-performing teams.
Episode 3 – The Power of Words
The words we use every day hold more power than we often realise. They shape our thoughts, influence our emotions and impact the people around us, sometimes in ways we do not even notice. A simple phrase can lift someone’s day while a careless comment can leave a lasting mark, which raises an important question, what might change if we became more intentional with our language?
In this episode of Allan’s Leadership Edge, Allan explores the impact our words have on ourselves, our relationships and the communities around us. He shares how small shifts in the language we use each day can help create a more positive mindset, strengthen connections and improve the way we communicate with others.
